Who is Riding Way?

Riding Way is a small, family run, community bicycle store in the cozy Melbourne suburb of Bentleigh East. Having only officially opening our doors in February 2011, we're just a baby store but that doesn't mean we don't know what we're doing. Riding Way has a keen focus on the youth and young families. With a strong BMX background, we have the knowledge to help get you flying and being a young family ourselves, we know what you need to get your family riding together.

What makes Riding Way different from other bike shops?

Riding Way is focused on the customer experience. Customer service seems to have disappeared from Australian retail, well, unless you come on down to Riding Way. You are greeted when you enter the store and are welcomed into a easy going, clean and relaxed environment. If you are just looking, that's ok, you won't be pressured into buying and you won't be wasting our time. We will most likely ask you if you want a coffee though, and we will probably ask you about your day.

What is the range of products like at Riding Way?

At Riding Way, we stock a wide range of products to suit a wide range of riders however there are a few areas we focus a little more on. Our main product range is BMX, showing a minimum of of 20 BMX bikes on the floor at any stage and a full range of parts and accessories to bring your BMX up to speed. 

After that, we focus on your family. 30+ bikes on the floor to suit any rider from age 2 right up to 102 years old.

We also stock a full comprehensive parts and accessories range. Light up the path and let other road user know that you are there with a headlight and flashing tail light set. Keep the mud off you back and out of your eyes with mud guards and look good in the latest cycling casual wear.

If there is something we don't have in stock, chances are we can order it in for you and have it in a couple of days. All you need to do is ask.

Do you do repairs?

Definitely. Our full service workshop is a vital part of the Riding Way experience. A full service starts at a low $45 and includes a full 'top to bottom' check, adjust and lube and also includes a bike wash.
